Error codes are DStv’s way of telling you whether the problem is signal, subscription, smartcard or Extra View linking. E18 falls under smartcard. See our full DStv error code list to compare.
DStv’s own self-service tools, which include the MyDStv website and app, can clear many subscription and smartcard codes. The exact steps change, so use DStv’s official website and support channels. Never give your login details, PINs or one-time passwords to anyone who contacts you.
