The short answer
Published error lists describe E19 as “Service is currently scrambled. Please wait.” It behaves like E30: the decoder is waiting for authorisation. Work through the steps below, and confirm current details with DStv, because decoder models and software differ.

Error codes are DStv’s way of telling you whether the problem is signal, subscription, smartcard or Extra View linking. E19 falls under subscription. See our full DStv error code list to compare.
DStv’s own self-service tools, which include the MyDStv website and app, can clear many subscription and smartcard codes. The exact steps change, so use DStv’s official website and support channels. Never give your login details, PINs or one-time passwords to anyone who contacts you.
If the code stays after payment, a restart and the self-service tools, contact DStv. Installers fix signal and cabling problems, not accounts. If you also see a signal error, read the E48-32 guide and have an installer check the dish and cable.
They are very similar “please wait” messages. See E30.
No. Give the decoder time to finish its check.
Contact DStv, and check your smartcard and cabling. An installer can check the cabling.
Often yes. Work through the steps above, and use DStv’s self-service tools. If it keeps returning, contact DStv or an installer.
